I was very excited to find out today that John Robshaw will be at Summer House in Mill Valley Friday March 26th from 4PM-7PM debuting his Spring 2010 collection of textiles!

If you’re in the area definitely stop by to meet him and view his fabulous pillows, quilts, dhurries and more! Also if you can’t make it on Friday but are in Mill Valley some other time, definitely stop by Summer House. It’s a fabulous boutique (actually they now have three locations in Mill Valley) that carries beautiful one of a kind furniture pieces and accessories.

Happy Groundhog Day everyone, just another step closer to Spring even though Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow (what does a groundhog know anyway?). First off a very happy belated new year to everyone! Let’s hope 2010 is a bit happier than 2009! As I mentioned a few posts back, autumn brought some changes to our family and I’m thrilled to announce that Joe and I are expecting our first baby. The little guy is due in May (the day before my birthday) and we couldn’t be more excited. That being said, between getting ready for our new addition and working on some new projects, I’ve let the blog fall a bit behind.

So to kick off the new year I thought I’d share some fun goodies from Areaware. Actually, one of our friends gave us our first baby gift from here and I absolutely loved it. Areaware is a “New York City based manufacturer and distributor renowned for unique design products with an emphasis on forward thinking technologies and original expression.”  All of their products are fun and cheeky with a modern twist. They also have a fabulous children’s line “Areaware Jr.“, which I’m sure I’ll be purchasing plenty of items from.
