First off a very happy belated new year to everyone! Let’s hope 2010 is a bit happier than 2009! As I mentioned a few posts back, autumn brought some changes to our family and I’m thrilled to announce that Joe and I are expecting our first baby. The little guy is due in May (the day before my birthday) and we couldn’t be more excited. That being said, between getting ready for our new addition and working on some new projects, I’ve let the blog fall a bit behind.
So to kick off the new year I thought I’d share some fun goodies from Areaware. Actually, one of our friends gave us our first baby gift from here and I absolutely loved it. Areaware is a “New York City based manufacturer and distributor renowned for unique design products with an emphasis on forward thinking technologies and original expression.” All of their products are fun and cheeky with a modern twist. They also have a fabulous children’s line “Areaware Jr.“, which I’m sure I’ll be purchasing plenty of items from.

These Teddies are amazing, I am quite into wooden toys but am branching out. I live the fact that with fabric all the teddies will be slightly different. They look stunning all lined up in the photo. I have been looking at your blog and I must say you have great taste. Blogs for me are a great way of learning new things. Keep it up.
