Do the Dash

I’m going to Chicago this weekend and while packing I remembered how much I love my Dash Rolling Hardside Carry-on from Brookstone. While it might look a little futuristic and you’ll inevitably get some unabomber comments from your friends (I speak from experience), you’ll take comfort in knowing that after they see the Dash do its thing, they’ll be running out to get one themselves.

The Dash is great for three reasons 1) its hard outer casing really does protect your stuff from breaking or cosmetics from exploding 2) the size is perfect for a carry-on and because it’s light you can easily hoist it up into the ever-decreasing bin space 3) because it has four wheels you can literally walk with it any way you want and you don’t need to worry about it flipping over like other rollers.

Ok, so there’s my ode to the Dash. Laugh all you want about it’s odd shape and extra wheels, but when I’m passing you on the people mover, easily darting in and out of all the people who insist on standing in the middle of the mover completely negating it’s purpose and efficiency (can you tell that’s a little peeve of mine) know that as you’re staring at my back over the shoulder of the guy making you late for your flight, I have a large grin on my face knowing I’ll have time to stop and grab an US Weekly before takeoff all thanks to my Dash.
