This isn’t specifically product related, but an article came out in the Times a few weeks ago that I’ve been meaning to share with you! “The $300 Makeover (At Least That Was the Goal)” details how five designers were given $300 to complete room makeovers for five New Yorkers. While only one of them was able to come in under $300, the rest managed to stay pretty close to the budget.
Why do I think this is so important, one might ask? It’s because this article really hits home what I’m trying to do with my company Starter Stylist. It’s so important to be happy and comfortable in your home and people tend to think it can’t be done cheaply or it’s not worth the time or money. But just with some paint, cleaning your room, rearranging your furniture or refinishing existing pieces one can easily freshen up a space, which I promise freshens up your mood!
