Not Your Typical Night Stand
March 24th, 2009 § 1 Comment

When putting the finishing touches on our master bedroom one of the last steps was finding bedside tables. While there are many options out there, it was challenging to find something that was both inexpensive and tall (our bed height is about 48″ and I hate leaning over to put stuff on the night stand). After much searching, including some thrift stores, I settled on the West Elm butler table. Not only are these tables reasonably priced, they’re taller than your average side table (measuring at about 32″ including the tray). I purchased the white tray for each stand, which I figure can be used later somewhere else in the house if I get bored of the tables.
My only hesitation with this option, was the fact that they’re not typical bedside tables and I was worried they’d look out of place in our bedroom. Fortunately, they complete the room and give it a spa/hotel-like feel, which I was really going for!
